I got this book for my Interpersonal Communications class this year and am about to go to my last class of the semester. I found the book interesting and easy to read - and we did read it in it's entirety. A lot of it was very basic but this is for an introductory course, so I'm not sure what else one would be be looking for really :D I personally enjoyed the things I did learn and had no problem glossing over the things that were already common knowledge. All in all no complaints from my end - thanks for an engaging book :D

Very easy to read and offers practical information that applies to everyday situations. The chapters are elongated and sometimes seem to drag on, but are all the more useful when put into practice.

Reflect and Relate is a great book, and what's funny is I recognize a lot of the lessons from church even though titles and terminology differs slightly.

Just kinda got it as a class requirement. The book is interesting but ends up being mostly common sense once you start learing about the basis of communication. I would say do not buy it unless you need to keep it for some reason. rent rent rent.

This isn't too bad of a text book. I wouldn't buy it for light reading, but it has good examples in it and doesn't put me to sleep.
