A great workbook for developing a child-centered classroom,
By A Customer
This review is from: Reflecting Children's Lives: A Handbook for Planning Child-Centered Curriculum (Paperback)
This book gives preschool teachers a framework for evaluating their teaching practices, and understanding the value of a child-centered curriculum. The authors do a wonderful job of explaining their philosophy, and demonstrating how it can be effective in real-life classrooms. A must-read for all people working with young children

This review is from: Reflecting Children's Lives: A Handbook for Planning Child-Centered Curriculum (Paperback)
This is a well written and user friendly guide to developmentally appropriate program planning. It guides with lots of questions and gives good examples. Debbie Curtis is in touch with the latest thinking in the early childhood field. I highly recommend this resource to teachers and program directors.
