A big disappointment as there is so little content,

I found this book to be an extreme disappointment. Rather than excerpts from some of the best comics with detailed explanations of the significance, there was very little text interspersed between what was generally cover art. Given that the cover image is largely a dramatic tease, this gives an artificial description of the content of the story. As someone that grew up reading and enjoying comic books, I have observed the dramatic changes that have taken place over time, yet very little of that was expressed in what is a very superficial book.
