Surprisingly I realized I hadnt read this book as Helen Hayes was one
of my very favorite actresses. This is a warm, inspiring book about
her life-her hardships with her mother (truly a "stage mother" of that era) and her amazing successes. Her beautiful relationship with
her beloved, Charles McArthur and her two children, Mary (who very
sadly died at 19) and Jamie (James) who later acted on "Hawaii 5-0).
Helen was one of the best actresses of all time and I wish she had
bragged more about her acting. That is something we will have to wait
for someone else to write.

I am very pleased with the book I purchased. The book is in very good condition and it is an enjoyable one to read.
