Soothing to the Soul,

I really enjoy listening to Michael C. Lewis. He has a warm, full sound to his music. While most of his songs are soothing to the soul, he had the keen sense to balance out the CD with a few up-tempo pieces - one just downright "funky!" This is the kind of CD that you put on when you have the entire house to yourself. Reflection and a nice hot cup of tea or a glass of wine is a great combination. I'm a fan of Michael C. Lewis and if you're a fan of "easy listening" jazz, this is the CD to get. While not all the songs qualify in the genre, it's mix of smooth funk, R&B and jazz makes it a nice listening companion on a car ride, lying the beach or just chilling on a Sunday afternoon. His music takes you away, to good places and that what music is suppose to do. Love it!
