5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Jerry CD, October 9, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Reflections (Audio CD)
This is my favorite Jerry solo album! All the songs have a nice flow and more of a jam-style than the heavy production as in some of the other CDs (e.g., Cats).

Jerry gets a great sound from his guitar on "Catfish John"--it sounds like a steel drum. And I love the final lead of "I'll Take a Melody."

You also get some Dead staples: "They Love Each Other", "It Must Have Been the Roses", & "Comes a Time". Not surprising considering the entire band played on many of the songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh........., November 5, 1999
This review is from: Reflections (Audio CD)
I don't know if this could be called Jerry's best work, but hands down, it is my absolute favorite of his solo efforts. I'm happy to see it's getting the recognition it deserves.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get the BONUS tracks on the re-release!, December 18, 2009
This review is from: Reflections (Audio CD)
My favorite Jerry studio album, but get the excellent bonus tracks on the re-issue from 2005-ish. Includes an 18 minute Orpheus jam by the Dead!
