Excellent book, August 29, 2011
This review is from: Reflections on Literature and Culture (Meridian: Crossing Aesthetics) (Paperback)
Time and again I find myself returning to this volume. Dr. Arendt's mind is so sharp that one finds oneself reading this almost as if it were canonical. Essay after essay reveals a somewhat lost world - that of European culture - in the years surrounding its collapse. Between essays on Brecht and Auden (who asked her to marry him} are tomes on Dostoyevsky and Kafka. Eventhough I might have nothing in mind to read, I can still go to this book and immediately become immersed.

I have to say that's a quite good book, offering you a totally different perspective on Arendt.
