The full essence of life and style of the greatest living Architect in the world are described by wonderful images which are showing his best creations, but not as a catalogue of realisations but as a set of details and unexpected views which are simply breathtaking! Foster is searching a new way to describe a tower, a bridge, a museum using a new key of illustration and showing inner and secret angles. I got the very big luck to have a NF signed copy as a gift directly from him, the value of that book is for me unvaluable.

This book is great not only as a collection of Foster's works. In fact the Foster and Partners Catalog maybe a better book if you want pictures of his buildings in their entirety, some of their plans and descriptions. This book is basically nothing but GREAT B&W photographs, some of entire buildings, some of just single elements, but they are absolutely worth the price. So in essence it is two books in one, a showcase of some of the best contemporary architecture and a great photo art album.

great book with excellent black and white photography. As an architecture student, I found this book to be a great gift and resource. Packaging could have been better, but the book was still in very good condition.
