I rented this movie, although I do not have cancer. All I have to says is WOW, this really inspired me. The speaker is very a very wise and nice man. He also has cancer, but God really uses him through this DVD. My request to you Mr. Director, is to make a DVD like this for all the Psalms. Wonderful work, everyone should not hesitate to get this movie. It is full of dialog, not just scenery. But if scenery is your thing, it has that too, of the Holy Land. My only suggestion is to make it more clear that Jesus is the Only way to salvation. Although they do say it in the film, but not directly. Ill never look at Psalm 23 the same. So much insight on a small part of the Bible.

cons: the only con I would say is they didnt really stress enough that Jesus said you MUST be born-again to get into heaven. The only way to get into heaven is to not trust in anything but Jesus for your salvation. Esp. if someone has cancer, you should be more concerned about their salvation. It is more loving to be direct with people, then just telling them some nice quotes.

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. Needless to say, it has turned our life upside down. But I am so grateful for our religious faith, and the support of people at our church. Without that, I don't know where we'd be. We rented this from our church library at someone's recommendation, and it is such a beautiful presentation of Psalm 23, line by line. Ken Curtis, the narrator, was diagnosed with terminal cancer himself and he is still here after 3 years, which goes to show you the power of faith and prayer. But even if you don't have cancer or some other life threatening illness, I would still recommend purchasing it. Ken is such an eloquent and convincing speaker, that you can't help but feel God's presence and peace while you are watching it. As another reviewer stated, you will never look at Psalm 23 quite the same way again.

It was what it says, a reflection of Psalm 23. And it was good, with some beautiful scenery. The author did a great job in sharing this psalm from his place of knowing cancer personally. I was hoping there would be something more about Jesus as the only basis for properly relating to God.

I do intend to pass it on to an aquaintance with cancer.

As a cancer victim, I found this video to be of significant solace and support to enable me to keep on keeping on. The moderator, who is a cancer survivor, presents his message in a calm and uplifting manner; he is to be commended for his effort in this regard. I would recommend this video to anyone who is facing down the cancer specter; it will be of much spiritual and emotional value. The film is beautiful, content is quite amazing and easily related to anyone who believes there is a reason for every creature born. No matter what one is going through in life, Psalm 23 are words to find comfort on. The film is recorded in biblical areas of the world which add to the understanding of the exact meaning of the psalm verses. You don't have to have read it in the bible or believe that there is indeed a God that does care for you and me. May you take the time to watch the DVD and perhaps even share with others. I bought one for a co-worker who has been getting treatment for the cancer in him and another to share with anyone who cares to be reminded that we are indeed loved. This is one of the best purchases ever done via Amazon.

I highly recommend this CD to anyone experiencing any of life's challenges including illness, divorce, financial difficulties, stress, and any other hardships taking place in your life. The narrator, Ken Curtis, has an enormous amount of life experience and is fighting cancer. His calm, reflections of how he and his family have managed to stay strong is inspirational. In less than 2 hours he will motivate you to have more faith, be kinder to others on your worst day, and he will delight you with an interesting perspective on why each of us can make it through any difficulty if we stay focused and have faith in a higher power. I encourage you to buy this CD even if you are on a tight budget. I meditate to the reflections each day and this experience has given me the strength to seek out new opportunities. I have a renewed hope for the future. Life is a journey and this is one path to having a more pleasant and relaxed view of the challenges we face. Good Luck to all of you!

This is a wonderful movie for anyone going through cancer, or any other serious trial in life. As for the seller, I would highly recommend them to anyone. It was nice doing business with them.

The narrator of the video does a wonderful job of sharing the contents of the 23rd Psalm to give the viewer hope in spite of their diagnosis of cancer. We gave this to a relative who has been battling prostate cancer and he found new hope and faith through this video. He told us he watches sections of it regularly.

I would recommend this for anyone who is suffering from cancer or any other serious disease. If you have a loved one who is suffering they might enjoy this even if they are not a person of faith. The 23rd Psalm is beautiful literature and even if you don't have a belief in God there is comfort that can be found in its verses.

An uplifting discussion of Psalm 23 done in a way that is very comforting for those Christians overcoming discouragement. Dr. Ken Curtis is very personable. I hope Dr. Curtis considers a presentation on the prayer of St. Francis next.
