There once was a Rotarian who wanted to visit clubs in other countries...,

This review is from: Reflections of a Rotarian (Hardcover)
The book captures the cultures, the policies, and the thinking of the 1950's, well before the great civil rights movement in America and else where. The goal of visiting other Rotatary Clubs around the world was really a huge adventure and the book is the anecdotal account of of that journey and times. The author and his beautiful wife take the reader along on a real old fashion travel log of a passing time and place in history.
Makes interesting reading as they travel by old tramp steamers and other means. We learn about how they felt and thought and how they were treated around the world. It is reflects the time as much as the people.
