This book it's one of the greates book about Cuban art I ever own. The collection nof artists, the time lines, the images are very good. What inetrest me is that the author is not only Cuban is a Cuban artist. I think must books about Cuban art the author is not from Cuba. I can not wait to see what Alexis Mendoza publish next.

Thank you for this great book

0 of 1 people found the following review helpful By Jerry Zimmer on May 26, 2009
Format: Paperback
I was very disappointed with this book. Its' narrative is almost impossible to understand. There are so many grammatical and spelling errors that I had to stop reading.Although it is understood that not all Cuban artists can be included in one single publictaion, the compendium of singled out artists was non-coherent and the representative works illustrated were very disparate in their quality. I commend the author for a valiant effort to be all encompassing but the book fell way short of my expectations.
