On the streets of Long Beach outside a liquor store, covered in tar and "trash surfing" for bits of pizza, a "budding" writer began his life's journey. Buddy's early life had begun with adversity. But he rose to the challenge and remained focused on his vision. Of course he had to have a plan. No true artist can create his best work on a stomach full of pizza crust. Just as he lay down under the window sill outside the store, big eyes full of hope, the lady in the gray truck pulled up. The car door opened, the lady melted and in jumped Buddy! From that creative outlet forward, Buddy began to emerge as one of the foremost literary canines of our time. Residing at his home, "Rancho Relaxo" in Woodland Hills, California, his days were spent enjoying his favorite activities: swimming in HIS pool, playing with his big rubber kong toy we call the "BLOB", fighting and playing with his sister Marilyn and trying like hell to terrify delivery people!
