The Reflective Life; Becoming More Spiritually Sensitive to the Everyday Moments of Life is an excellent choice if you want to improve you life as a Christian. It really shows you how much in life we really do take for granted. Ken Gire is trying to teach himself and his readers how to become better Christian's by stregthening his relationship, and helping his reader's strenghten their relationships the Lord. A Must Read!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read through this book quickly and yet, I believe it's lessons will stay with me for a long time. Ken's writing style is straightforward and very accessible. But the wisdom surprises you! It is clear that he enjoys a deep and loving relationship with God. Yet, he is not pushy with his theology...if anything I was touched by his welcoming of so many peoples, as he reminds us of Christ's command, "Love God and love your neighbor." I can't wait to read more of his books.

This book really changed the way I see different things in the world. It also instilled a greater love in me, and questioned a lot of my thoughts and actions. A must read for those who want to grow in intimacy with Christ!

Ken Gire is such a profound writer. The Reflective Life grabs your heart and mind from the very first page. Ken helps the reader to see that each day is a gift. It is the reader's choice whether or not to open that gift. God has so much for us. Many of us are so busy or unattentive that we miss all that God has for us. The Reflective Life is a book that you will go back to again and again.

Ken Gire has a gentle but persuasive way of catching our attention and focusing it on the really important things of life....like spending quality time with God. His book absolutely invites us to enter that most Holy place in a new and passionate way.

This book has all the elements of christian values and speaks to the heart of the matter concerning what it takes to "Really" open up your life. I am continually amazed at Ken Gire's insights about the scriptures and "real-life" application. I give this work a resounding 5-stars.

As I began reading, I recognized the hunger in my own heart. As I continued reading I fed it.

Gire is heavily influenced by movies and often sees in them and in the theater useful spiritual insights. This tie between pop culture and the sacred lands current see and immediacy to the book, which I would recommend to anyone who is looking to deepen their spiritual journey.
