About the Author

Dr. Carl Trueman is Associate Professor of Church History and Historical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He is the author of four books and has published articles in various journals.

Dr. Trueman completed his Ph.D. at the University of Aberdeen in 1991 where he then worked as Senior Lecturer in Church History.
