I've had no trouble with the refurbished ink cartridge, which is a much better price with a faster delivery than the brand name ink. Just remember that the computer will be confused and think your ink is still out. I made sure to change the cartridge before the ink was totally out because I was afraid of how the computer might act if it thought it was really out.
