A shaver is like buying a washer and dryer, you have to have it but you really hate to have to buy it. This has been a better shaver for me than the 3 recent Norelco and Braun brands that I had previously used. Close shave, holds an excellent charge. This is a top of the line shaver that you don't have to pay a ton for. Easy to clean and looks great too! Has my highest recommendation.

Bought this for my partner and he really likes it. He likes being able to see the minutes left on the battery and always being able to charge it before it dies. This is especially helpful when traveling. He says the shave is great. It out performs more expensive razors that he has. I bought it because he was always complaining about never knowing how much charge was on his razor (traveling in RV). We do a lot of dry camping with no electricity so this razor is perfect. His Norelco is just laying in the drawer now!

First of all the company when I asked a question returned my request very quickly and gave me very acurate information. I recieved the item and it was packaged well and looked like a factory packing on the tiem and was refurbished by the manufacturer. I pligged it in and to my surprise it was working at full power while charging the battery. The shave was smooth quite and close. I liked the product and was not mislead in any way and will make sure to buy anything I need and DJ has. Recommend this vendor highly.

After a great buying experience from Amazon with a trimmer; I ordered a Remington Razor. This arrived in just a few days; the shipping was a little expensive but the razor does a great job and I may buy one for my elderly uncle! Goodbye Norelco; Remington wins! Thanks Amazon.

I bought this shaver for my husband, because he had a Remington for years and liked it, but it finally needed to be replaced. I read the reviews for less expensive shavers and decided that they would not be as good as the quality shaver I had purchased before. So, I decided to take a chance on a better quality refurbished shaver and liked the look and reviews from this one. Plus, we travel abroad, so I was glad that he could convert to other voltages. Got it, looks brand new and works great. My husband is most pleased and so am I (smooth as a baby's behind). I would recommend this product.

This shaver gives me the closest shave of any rotary razor I have owned. I was concerned that the battery might not be good in a refurbished unit as I had previously purchase a Remington 9300 refurb model and it came with a defective battery. To make sure this shaver's battery was ok, after I charged it overnight, I let it run on the counter until the battery was completely drained. Even on that first drain down it lasted much longer than the 60 minutes maximum it shows in the LCD display. Now in regular use the battery is holding charge very well.

When I purchased this item it was listed as new. When it arrived it was clearly listed as reconditioned. The protective cap for the heads broke trying to put it on. I charged it over night and tried it. The shave was acceptable but you have to push harder than my experience with Norelco. When the battery indicator showed having 35 minutes left the thing died. I recharged it and it still works but you never know when the battery will die again. It goes dead at different minute levels each time. I cannot recommend this item in good faith to anyone wanting a good reliable shave.

BUYERS BEWARE: I bought this refurbished shaver, and it will not hold a charge. The fancy (and useless) "minutes left" indicator will show that there are 30 minutes left, and then the battery dies (the maximum charge is supposed to give 40 minutes of shaving). I might have gotten a defective one, but Remington responded to an e-mail saying (verbatim) that "We do not warranty products that are purchased that have been refurbished. We are sorry for any trouble this may cause you". DON'T BUY this shaver. Or any Remington shaver if you don't want to run with the risk of ending up with a piece of junk in a drawer.

Plain Jane shaver that works great. Simple plug in for charging without the big adapter so many others have.

It gives a slightly better shave than my Norelco. The "on" button isn't really a button at all, rather a piece of rubber you have to find and press in, a bit difficult to use with one hand. I like that it tells you how many minutes of charge are left. Still, that doesn't stop me from charging it every time. Feels a bit heavy in your hand. Cleans easily enough. I went to use the trimmer this morning, and found that it doesn't work. Good thing I saved my Norelco, the trimmer works fine on that. Refurbished. I guess you get what you pay for.
