During the fourteenth century, there was a general demoralization in the Jewish commmunity in Spain. Many Jews were on the brink of conversion. Rabbi Crescas met the Christian challenge by writing this pithy book refuting the principles of the Christian religion.

I think the author has a very logical POV and very scientific in the modern sense. Great basis for Interfaith discussions. Love the chapter on Virginity. Something a gynecologist could discuss religiously.
