I'm shocked these don't have more reviews! I'm super picky and I typically would want something that's truly silk..but we are trying to save money so I thought I'd try these despite them only having 2 reviews. I'm shocked these don't have more reviews!!! If you're hesitant to buy these, don't be! I have searched all over amazon for weeks trying to find room darkening drapes for the baby's room and our own room. The true room darkening shades and drapes always come with that awful plastic backing (which is what makes them room darkening). However, not only is that plastic lining really cheap looking and makes the drapes hang cheaply...they smell soooo horribly like chemicals. Who wants to breathe that toxic stuff, especially while sleeping? These drapes are different...they are lined in fabric (feels like cotton)and they hang beautifully!
I was so afraid to wash them because they have metal grommets at the top and I thought the grommets would either fall off or rip the drapes but these drapes came out of the dryer in perfect condition! I'm amazed! I bought the platinum to use behind cute drapes from land of nod in the baby's room that don't block light and they make the room pretty dark. Not pitch black...but we only have one hanging on each window. If you buy 2 for each window (and these are cheap enough so go for it), they will be true blackout drapes without the nasty, toxic chemicals and they'll look much more expensive. I also bought one set of brown for our bedroom but they're so inexpensive compared to everything else I've researched we plan to buy 2 more for a fuller look and to get the room even darker. On they're own (only 1 panel per window), however, they really do darken nicely...the same as and even slightly better than miniblinds. One panel comes in a package and for those who are bothered by that (as I've read in reviews for other drapes), I'd say about 95% of drapes come the same way-one panel per package. These are an excellent value. The only negative is since you have to tumble dry on low (and they do make noise in the dryer bc of the grommets but they didn't harm our dryer) they come out needing to be ironed lightly. This is so worth it to me though because I only plan on cleaning these once/year (and I'm a germaphobe). Also, I typically hate the whole grommet look...but I actually like how these are once hanging. If you truly hate grommets though, I still wouldn't let that prevent me from buying these. They are so inexpensive they are totally worth cutting the grommets off and sewing the top over so a pole can fit through. I cut the grommets off for the set in the nursery because I wanted to use these are a blackout liner of sorts with a printed set of drapes hanging over them and I didn't want to hang two poles. So I cut the grommets off and nailed the drapes to the top of the window. Then we hung the cute nursery drapes over that on a pole and instead of totally opening the drapes in the morning by sliding them far to one side, we just grab them in the middle on one side, and pull them and hook them behind a drape hook (you can use a command hook since you won't see it) so both these panels and the printed ones from LON go across the window on the top but are pulled open to the side to let light in. I hope this makes sense. Just a tip if you wanted to use these as blackout liners with another drape over them but didn't feel like hanging 2 rods. If you sew, you could also buy the platinum (bc they're close to white) and cut the grommets off and just sew them to the backs of whatever drapes you like.

I bought these panels for my living room bay. The fabric is very pretty and they are a nice weight, color is perfect for my needs. My only problem is that they do not hang straight no matter what I try. The side hems are a little puckered and refuse to hang straight even after ironing. Quality of construction is not the greatest but I will keep them and like them. Not too expensive considering that I needed 6 of them.

I think Amazon did a pretty good job in demonstrating the correct color online but these curtains have more of beige/silver warm undertones instead of the cool, white/silver color that I need.
