This short novel is a lightning journey through a special woman's unusual life.
On the day of Victoria's second wedding, she looks back on her life up to that point. Starting at age nine when her father went off to "the hospital" and never returned, readers share the heroine's memories of a sweet romance and a sadly failed marriage, a heartbreaking loss, and finding the courage to keep going in the face of despair.
