Each bedrail features easy-to-clean nylon fabric and a sturdy, all-steel frame.
The all-steel frame provides a strong, safe barrier that prevents your child from falling from bed while sleeping. The patented Gap Guard system features two braces that hold the bedrail tightly against the opposite side of the mattress. This ensures that the bedrail does not shift or slip during the night and prevents unwanted gaps.
The double-sided rail is ideal for beds that are not against a wall and can be used as a single bed rail if you change the position of the bed. Each rail is 18 inches high, so it can accommodate extra-thick mattresses.
Not only does the double-sided bedrail meet the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards and is certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA), it's also PVC- and lead-free.
Easy and Quick Setup and Storage
There are no tools required to set up the bedrail, so it's ideal for busy parents and caregivers. When you need to store the bedrail away, the HideAway technology incorporates an exclusive Glide Trac system that allows the bedrail to fold flat. It rolls smoothly and tucks in easily between the mattress and box spring. This keeps the bedrail stored discretely when not in use and allows access to the mattress for changing bed sheets and comforters.
Wipes Clean and Lightweight for Travel
Durable mesh nylon fabric covers the steel frames, making it comfortable to the touch. For added convenience, the fabric is easy to keep clean by simply wiping with a damp washcloth.
The bedrail measures 43 inches long and 18 inches tall for extra security and your peace of mind.
The Regalo HideAway Double-Sided Bedrail is backed by a manufacturer's limited 90-day warranty.

Will be good for going to Grandma's since the rails come apart and can be put into the bag. The rails are a little heavy, but they seem very sturdy.
Metal Frame Extremely well designed,
Metal Frame Extremely sturdy (compared to other manufacturer's) - *doesn't feel sturdy until install, but it is extremely well made.
- Has the Metal Frame that comes up the side, as well as a Metal bar that runs horizontally (parallel to the rails) that sits under the mattress, making this extremely sturdy.
Fabric Barrier is not very well made, the quality is lacking on many levels
- Fabric Fraying right out of the box
- Seams not but single stitched and on some corners and edges coming off
- Overall Quality of Fabric is lacking, but it will keep the kid in the bed, which is the point, hopefully the fabric fraying is not a strangulation or choking hazard.
- The "Hide Away" Feature cannot be used with a bunkie board if the actual Bed's Side Board rail blocks the Regalo Bed Rail from being able to fold down (we chose to use a bunkie board in lieu of a box spring because of the height difference)
I give it 4 stars because of our experience, the fabric quality out of the box, seems this is typical, it was with both types we tried, although the manufacturer sent us a completely new set of barriers that were single stitched, they were not fraying in the least, the metal frame calls for 5 stars.. The END result calls for 5 stars, out of the box calls for a reaching 4 with the barrier fraying issue.Read more ›
Unfortunately I bought this 6 months before actually installing it and I cannot return it.
The twin mattress we're using is pretty hard so the lumps would be far worse on a softer bed.
The other thing that was very frustrating about this item was that when it was under the mattress it did not slide in or out easily. Even with the anchor straps the joints did not line up and you also struggled to pull out or put in the supporting holding pin into the supporting slot. When you did get the pin through the slot there was a gap between where the slot came out and where it met the supporting upright. Very unstable and scary to think that your child will be able to knock it out during the night.
I would not recommend this item to anybody and it is just a waste of time and money. I would not be surprised if it was made in China.I have tried to include a few photographs of the problem areas as well, but Amazon does not offer that option.

Does the job. Aside from a manufacture defect with the locking pins that hold the frame together. Holes didn't line up on two of the rods in the mesh sides. Read morePublished 21 hours ago by Carroll0388
