5.0 out of 5 stars Mayer at his best, September 27, 2002

While re-incorporating some his older/oldest material (Partita, for one), Mayer is superb here. Really, his best CD/album. It is amazing that 25 years or so after his first album, with a new team, and his son at his side, he still is as fresh and just plain stunning. Excellent album (better than "Asian Airs" and if you revere "Indo-Jazz fusions"--the original from 77 or 78--, don't miss this one--it is not easy to find, go for it if/when it is available.

John Mayer didn't die, in fact he was in my city of Perth last month in April! Get your facts straight first you tool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Musicianship at its best, March 10, 2004

Listening to this superb album today is excedingly poignant, especially as I heard that John Mayer died yesterday after being hit by a car in London. His music lives on.
