5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable!, September 19, 2010
This review is from: Regency Brides (Paperback)
I absolutely adored this anthology. Anne Gracie's story about 'The Virtuous Widow' was probably the weakest of the three stories. Ellie Carmicheal falls in love with a man she nurses back to health, even though she finds out he is married. It is a tad formulaic, but even still I thought Ellie and Daniel were charming lovers. The story of Arabella who enters into a marriage of convenience with the blind Earl of Huntingdon is stunningly beautiful. 'My darling echo' by Gayle Wilson is as romantic as this genre gets. And Nicola Cornick also does a great job telling the story of the downfall of the rake, the Marquis of Merlin in 'The rake's bride'. Highly recommended.
