5.0 out of 5 stars excellent, low cost alternative to Silpat silicone pan liners
I'm a very accomplished home baker, and I've used my Super Parchment resuable pan liners for over 5 years now. I LOVE them. I used them even before I had ever heard of the Silpat silicone liners, and I like them better. Not only are they about 1/4 the cost, but they work beautifully, clean up easily, and they roll right up into a very small diameter and can be tucked...

3.0 out of 5 stars leaves a residue
I thought this was exactly what I wanted, but I was wrong. The liner came folded (right on the package it says 'do not fold or crease') anyway, the indentations haven't come out and they seem to be a weak spot in the liner. But the worst part about this particular liner is that it leaves a sticky-grease-like residue on my cookie sheet underneath it. Yuk. I have to use an...

I'm a very accomplished home baker, and I've used my Super Parchment resuable pan liners for over 5 years now. I LOVE them. I used them even before I had ever heard of the Silpat silicone liners, and I like them better. Not only are they about 1/4 the cost, but they work beautifully, clean up easily, and they roll right up into a very small diameter and can be tucked away in little space. The Silpats are a much heavier, almost rubbery product. I know they work well too, but they are nearly $20 apiece, and at about $6, you can easily afford 2 or 3 of the Super Parchment. Also, unlike the Silpats, you can cut the Super Parchment to fit any pan size you may have (up to 13" by 17"). I won't consider making cookies without them. They even release almond macaroons with no difficulty, and anyone who bakes those knows how difficult they can be to get off the pan. I've used parchment paper too, and still do for some things, but I simply do not understand why it isn't easier to find Super Parchment, and why more folks don't write about it. Do not hesitate to treat yourself to these liners. You won't be sorry! They also make a nice way to line the cookie sheet you put under a baking pie. It truly makes cleaning up the drips no trouble at all. I am securely attached to these liners, and I know you will be too, once you give them a try.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Silpat, November 20, 2005

These are super easy to use. They are soft and flexible-unlike Silpat. A big plus is that they can be cut to fit round or odd shaped pans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny, January 11, 2007
This review is from: Regency Reusable Cookie Sheet Liner (Kitchen)
These baking sheets are usually $20-25 in an upscale kitchen store, so this was beyond a bargain. A few things to be careful of for longevity: do not cut anything on the liner, do not use in an oven hotter than 400 degrees and do not let the edges flop over a pan that is too small to accomdate. If you follow these simple suggestions, it should give you literally years of wear - I just threw my 5 year old pan liner out!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best product for anyone who bakes, December 20, 2006

I see another reviewer posted comments 3 years ago - and I concur 100%.

Why aren't these more popular? Easier to find? I am giving them to every friend and relative for Christmas, including 2 children who are professional cooks. I can't imagine baking without them. They are little kitchen miracles. I never have been able to get into silpat - just the aesthetics of it - so I can't compare functionality. But when you love something as much as I love Super Parchment, why would you consider anything else?

We bought these as replacement for pair of the exact same product we have been using over 10 years. They are used several times a month and have recently gotten some rips, but are still usable. The longevity of this product make it a great Green product in my opinion. Glenn

5.0 out of 5 stars These are AWESOME!!!!!!!!, December 8, 2011

OK, i decided to order these to save money on disposable parchment paper while baking. They arrived tri-folded in plastic wrap with a cardboard closure. It reads on the back of the cardboard "Do not crease". Of course, seeing as how they were tri-folded, naturally I freaked out. Before even removing these from their packaging, I googled Regency Wraps Inc and emailed them with my concerns. The next morning I had a response waiting in my inbox. This is a quote from the company themselves, not a paraphrase: "We understand your confusion and we apologize. We are making a running change of the packaging to correct and clarify the instructions. The creases that are in the product in no way hinder or diminish the performance. The instructions should have said : Avoid additional and repeated creasing. In order to avoid additional and repeated creasing, roll the liner up to store it. We thank you for purchasing our product and hope that we have satisfactorily addressed the matter. Happy Cookie Baking!" So, i felt much better and opened/washed each liner (I bought 4). I made chocolate chip cookies today and used the liners over and over and over. Compared to regular throw away parchment, the bottom edges of the cookies browned a little more with the super parchment, (but still didn't burn them) so i kept an eye on the cookies and baked them for a slightly less time than called for and then they were light and perfect....but the bottoms were a perfect color! I read another review that mentioned the super parchment left a residue...well after several times in and out of the oven, i could see marks from where the cookies had baked, but when I lifted the super parchment and the pan was perfectly clean and shiny, no residue, no cookie circles, nothing, like it wasn't even used! I did notice, however, that after washing, the cookie marks were still on the super parchment. I don't know if that affects it long term or not, only time will tell. Also, you can cut it to fit any shape, but here's a tip....make a line where you want to cut, because the micro lines are hard to see, especially when its vibrating while your cutting. I hope these last a long long time, they are awesome and will save lots of money over time not having to buy regular parchment! :) Happy Baking everyone!

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than silicone sheet liners, August 2, 2011

Unlike silicone liners, these liners are thinner so my cookies cook more evenly in that it cooks according to the recipe temperature. I'm not a proficient baker so I rely on those recipe instructions like a bible which is why I preferred these to the silicone liners. The silicone liners raised my baking time which is a plus or minus depending on your oven and I didn't like that. Also these have lasted 10 baking cycles and they haven't had any problems yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff!, December 28, 2011

I was looking for something to replace parchment paper and this was the cheaper alternative compared to the other brands. I decided hey for the cost of about 2 boxes of parchment paper, I'll give it a try. I've recently made a few batches of pigs in the blanket with sharp cheddar cheese and when I used aluminum foil in my previous times of making this, my blankets all ripped and the cheese stuck to the foil but when I used the reusable sheet liner, it came off with no effort what-so-ever. Best thing ever! It felt like I greased it sooo much but I didn't do a thing.

The funny part is on the product's packaging, it indicates that you should not crease the liner but it comes folded in the packaging. Other than that, everything worked as advertised and I didn't get any weird after taste or anything. The color of the liner is brown so after cooking on it, it doesn't stain much. Cleaning was just a matter of sponging some soap over and rinsing and drying for the next use. Enjoy.

But the worst part about this particular liner is that it leaves a sticky-grease-like residue on my cookie sheet underneath it. Yuk. I have to use an S.O.S. pad on both the cookie sheet and the liner to get it off. I think next time I'm going to go for a more expensive and hopefully more durable liner.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, January 21, 2012

While I prefer Silpat as a baking sheet liner because of the thickness, these liners do many the same jobs at a fraction of the price. If you are an occasional baker/sugar artist and don't really require the thickness of the overpriced alternative, you will be very happy with this product. Poured sugar works fine on these but if you need to spread, they are thin and tend to move about a bit on the sheet. If you put a little water on the baking sheet below the liner, you can manipulate your poured sugar some. Excellent product for the money; I would recommend these without hesitation. I have been using these for years, they hold up well so I just bought 3 more.
