It's great, has some unique mixes, but why doesn't Amazon carry the import version? I have both, and enjoy the US Version - but the two disc import is permanently loaded in my CD Changer!

If you're not familiar with this duo, they are a unique blend of industrial, goth, and techno - haunting vocals, substantial social commentary, and great groove.

Try to get the import set - but if you can't, pick this up - better yet get them both.

What can I say, Regenerator is by far one of the finest EBM bands ever! I own all of their previous albums and singles (some of which are out of print!), so this retrospective of both old and new remixes is a real treasure trove for me!

This CD is excellent! Each remix is unique, presenting fresh reinterpretations of old favorites and one track from Regenerator's upcoming album Disease, entitled Organism (bound to be another classic for the band!). The listener is treated to older remixes courtesy of industrial luminaries such as Front 242 and newer ones from such artists as Assemblage 23. This CD serves as a fine retrospective (albeit through the lens of artists other than Regenerator) showcasing both the superb vocals and songwriting of Wrex and Patrice Mock. It's also a great starting point for those unfamiliar with the band and its previous releases (all of which are imports with the exception of '99's Debugged and the Millennia Mixes).

If you like these remixes, I suggest you also purchase the European version of this album from the Regenerator website, which is a 2 CD set of album tracks and even more remixes that are not featured on the US version. The US should've received a 2 CD set like the one Europe got, but I guess Regenerator couldn't afford it. In short, buy both versions since there are remixes unique to both releases (with some overlapping) so you can enjoy ALL of these outstanding remixes!
