Wow! What a great book Regeneration is! It's full of excitement, tension, drama, and characters that will pull at your heartstrings. The situations and problems of the kids in this book feel real, and the book is written in a wonderfully engaging manner.

I found this book interesting enough to captivate adults, yet the content is so tasteful that a teacher could use it without any problem in a classroom with kids as young as 10 years old. (As a matter of fact, I know of one ten year old who gasped when he got to the final words of this book, "MY GOSH! OH, MY GOSH!" He is now "chomping at the bit" to get book number two in the series, as am I!)

This is a definite "read" for anyone who is interested in a good story about what the future might hold for "cloned kids." I highly recommend this book - and hope that L.J. Singleton writes MANY more in this series!

Varina has been living a fairly normal life with her Uncle Jim, but then she comes home one day to find the house trashed and her uncle seriously injured in the study. Then things get worse. A stranger called Chase tries to ell her that she is a clone - one of five - but she doesn't want oto believe him. Because her uncle wanted her to, Varina helps Chase track down the other three clones. As they search they are hunted by Dr.Victor and his companion Geneva - both want to test them and then destroy them.

I found this novel both gripping and well written. Varina is the kind of character who gets under your skin and makes you pay attention. The stroy of this novel is strong and I found myself on the edge of my seat each time a new snippet of information came through.

Cloning is a hot topic for novels at the moment - Replica is the best known series, but it has come up in other novels like "Starsplit" by Kathryn Lasky. The scariest thing about these novels is that you can picture it happening somewhere out there. This series is similar to some extent to the Replica series, but this is more challenging and more interesting - after twenty-odd novels Replica is getting just a little bit boring. Regeneration is both using an old idea and making it original.

You have got to try this book and make a decision for yourself - but I don't think you will regret picking this novel up.

I met Linda Joy Singleton at a Literary Writing Conference my school held a few months ago. I had a little class with Mrs. Singleton. She was very nice and taught us a lot about writing and publishing books. "Regeneration" is an awesome book with a fun, mysterious, and creative story that you are sure to love. The five books in the series are so good that it takes you a while to find another type of book as entertaning. I would recomend this book to anyone. ~Diandra M. Age: 14

Teenage orphan Varina, who was raised by her uncle, has never wondered about her past - she always figured she was normal, in spite of her mysterious tattoo. After her uncle is attacked, he tells her to search for a group of clones he helped create, and save from death, fifteen years ago. But before she can do this, Varina will have to face the truth about her own past. I highly reccomend this science fiction thriller.

I liked this book. It was just soo cool. I like the way the awesome writer L.J. Singleton makes this wonderful piece of fiction seem a reality.

The events in this story sound like it could really, really happen.

Of course it would be amazing if they did. It deals with action, a hint of romance (it's not THAT bad. This book is for kids and YAs. The romance here is like Brock from Pokemon crushing on Nurse Joy or something.), and, of course, adventure.

What a FANTASTIC new series! Besides being well-written, and a real page-turner, it is totally intriguing because it COULD happen! WOW! I couldn't put it down. L.J. Singleton has created a compelling cast of characters who are in big trouble. I can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens. I highly recommend this book!

This book was so wicked,I would definately recommend it to every one. It had everything a great book needs and much more. It's about these kids who find out that they are clones, and they're running from this evil scientist that helped create them. He wants to terminate them because he doesn't want anyone to find out that he helped make them. My favourite character is Varina. I like Allison as well but she's kind of wierd she went with Chase and Varina, though she was lucky that they weren't kidnappers they MIGHT have been, oh well she probobly has confidence in her strength (she's super strong). Any way just buy the book it's totally wicked (I love that word).

This book and the rest of the series are some of the best books I ever read. When I first looked at the cover and read the back I thought the book would be really boring. But for some reason I bought it. Boy was I wrong this is a great book not boring in the least. And trust me it gets better as it goes! I don't know how Miss Singleton does it but the books just keep getting better! Keep up the good work Miss Singleton!

L.J. Singleton has created a fresh, new series with the brand-new REGENERATION books. It has been awhile since I have found a book so fast-paced, captivating, and compelling.This book is very well-written and deals with a mystery that is very 21st Century. The characters are interesting, likable, and very believable. The book is scary without being full of horror or complete gore. It is mostly mysterious, action-packed, and suspenseful. I would recommend this book to anyone over age ten. This book is the type you can't put down, and I am looking forward to reading more about the REGENERATION kids, and their futures. It is about time another great series with strong characters was released.

This story will draw you in and take hold of you. The subject might make you wonder about your past and the future of our next generations. L.J. Singleton has combined action, mystery, and intrique into a true 21st Century story about teenagers who discover they are clones. Told with believability, accuracy, and boasting some well-developed characters, REGENERATION is a book that will keep you page turning far into the night. Kids and young adults alike will enjoy this fascinating, mysterious thriller.
