Love it! Recommend for anyone needing to control germs or outbreaks. My son had staph infection and this controlled it WITHOUT meds! When I had surgery, I started using this a few days in advance and then for the month after surgery when my incisions were healing. NO INFECTIONS and everything looks great!

I discovered this product when my daughter contracted MRSA, which is resistant to most antibiotics. The Hibiclens is not a cure for anything, though it helps contain an infection. It is also a means of preventing infection in the first place, killing germs on the hands before they get into contact with the eyes or mouth. Colds and the flu are a thing of the past for me -- with the help of the annual vaccination, of course. The anti-bacterial qualities last for several hours after a washing. I also use the soap as a substitute for deodorant, avoiding the chemicals that product contains. However, I do not use it on any other parts of my body, knowing there are good bacteria as well as bad and not wanting to disrupt or destroy the good. I've never gotten it in my eyes but have been warned that it's especially unpleasant for that to happen. Like any powerful agent, it must always be treated with respect and only used properly.

I've been using this product for about 2 weeks now and I'm pleasantly surprised how effective it's been. I have been using it not only for my hands but also on my neck and shoulders for my acne, and also my armpits. After first using it, I haven't had to use deoderant/antipersperant. No profuse sweating and most of all, no body oder whatsoever.

Chlorohexidine is a powerful antiseptic that kills both Gram positive and Gram negative skin pathogens. Hibiclens is a standard of care for handwashing and wound disinfection in many hospitals. Many people use Hibiclens as a pre-scrub several days before an anticipated surgery, with the intent that it will inhibit bacteria and prevent post-operative infection. At 4% concentration, this is very strong. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, rectum, as at this concentration, it is quite irritating to non-skin mucosa.

Although expensive, this is perhaps the best hand cleanser on the open market. Use it at home during flu season to reduce the liklihood of cross infection.

I got this for my daughter and the price was good but the shipping way too high. Be careful when you order this, because Amazon shows the 1 gallon size with a pump next to it for a combined price. Read the deal. The pump is for a 32 oz. bottle NOT for the 1 gallon jug.

I have been using this product for a mrsa (staph) infection, and it works!! My doctor told me to use it, and at this price it is affordable, especially with free shipping. I have had a recurring mrsa infection, and if I scrub the boils with Hibiclens, they drain, dry, and go away!! If I used regular soap, it would get worse, and require oral antibiotics. An added side effect is that you don't need to use deodorant, this stuff keeps bacteria from forming so you don't smell.

Always see a doctor for a mrsa infection.

This was what my doctor recommended when I had a recurrence of a staph infection on my skin. This company had the best price I could find for the product. Then I filled out the order form and - quite late in the process - found that the $50 item would cost $20 to ship. When this runs out, I'll be looking for a local supplier.

With all of the scary Germs and MRSA floating around in our world, I wouldn't go anywhere on a trip without some Hibiclens OR be without it at home! This product will HEAL any kind of Skin related cut, scrape or wound imaginable. I can't think of my life without this amazing product!

I've been using this product for several years. It was recommended by my dermatologists. It doesn't dry out or bother my skin. The only problem is to fine at reasonable price.
