Great Music Haphazzardly Presented,

The music itself rates a full 5 stars! However, the presentation rates about a 0.9. I think the compiler of this set loaded LKJ's early CDs into a multi-player, put it on random shuffle, and chose the first 10 songs that played. Take my advice, for about $10 more you can get Independent Intravenshan on the same label - it has about 4 times the music, the tracks are remastered, and you get several dub versions throw in to boot!

Mix of Reggae and Rap?,

Linton Kwesi Johnson is great. He really has personality. He seems to speak instead of sing, but the music is there, and it's good! If you like reggae music, as I do, you'll probably love it.
