First Melodymakers CD. All the Marleys sound so young, particularly Stephen. An all star backing band of seasoned reggae veterans. If anybody out there knows where I can get a copy of "Hey World" I'd sure appreciate it. I bought it on cassette and it has the terminal squeeks. Dave

This is the Original Roots Sounds that is indeed Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers..I grew up on this particular album in the Virgin Islands..I have searched the earth for this one..This album is essential to anyone that claims to have any Rootsman Credentials...Greetings and Blessings ... for finding this treasure.

This was originally released by Tuff Gong/EMI as "Play the Game Right" on a LP that has a board game on the back cover in which the object of the game is to reach Zion. I believe Ziggy was only seventeen when it was released. It contains some very rootsy and mature tracks for such young musicians. The band is backed by Bobs old band which you will recognize when listening. I have been fortunate to find Play the Game Right on LP and CD. I think this is Ziggy's best record to date. An absolute necessity!
