Does anyone out there have any idea if a region one dvd version of this film will ever be released? It's terrible for those of us who don't own an all-regions dvd player, and I for one don't have the money to shell out for a new player, just so that I can then be able to watch this brilliant film! Who could I write to in order to get this released as a region one dvd? Anyone have any ideas?

By "share", do you mean you would be willing to sell it?

I don't know what the situation was back in 2006, but these days you can pick up a region-free machine (i.e. Coby or Craig) for less than $40.

Do you still have a copy that you could share?

does your copy's picture shake whenever the camera is still?

I own a region 1 DVD copy of this film. It's a beautiful transfer, with no "camera shake" that I notice at all. I've been waiting for a definitive blu-ray edition for some time, hoping that Criterion would finally release an edition that might include some 'supplements'.This is a "Must Own" film for any true cinephiles collection. At once beautiful and disquieting. A thought provoking, imaginatively conceived and executed film. Greenaways' work is a must for any film lovers collection. HIGHLY recommended.
