About the Author

The aurthor was a public service employee working for a law enforcement agency. Prior to this employment, Mr. Cooper was a transportation professional working for over seventeen years in the railroad industry. He is an Eagle Scout, professionally licensed building contractor and has been recognized for making significant community improvements in his hometown. Today, Mr. Cooper is an employer and operates a successful construction business, a problem property solution company, a retail outlet and a food service company. He is also the target of an uniformed and easily persuaded fear driven and at times vindictive society. He is a member of a growing number of former sex offenders that are the new scapegoat for a generation of ambitious politicians. In spite of this Mr. Cooper has successfully re-intergrated himself back into society and fights for the reformation of laws that hinder or outright prohibit recovering former sex offenders to live productive lives within our society. ( Mr. Cooper's real name is not Mr. Cooper)

Was chalengened to be open minded and then could not put it down. Checked the facts and his views and experience changed the way I see the government treating these people. Some changes are desperately needed. I sincerely appreciate this guy having the balls to write this!

It seems to me as though he does an awful lot of blaming of his wife and very minimal accountability for his actions. I feel like be is still attempting to manipulate and control his audience to feel bad for him. I feel somewhat slimmed by attempts at manipulation upon reading this book. Also, not sure how or where this book was published. It is very poorly edited.

If you ever wondered what is in the mind of someone who molests his child, then this book will shed light on it for you. The author explains who he is, and the circumstances that led him to molest his own daughter and the consequences he has to live with for the rest of his life. I found his lack of insight into his own wrong doing disturbing, but applaud his effort at sharing his perspective.

This book is a first hand account of the challenges and background of a sex offender. This book should be read by all to understand the travesty that is the current sex offender law.
