good book to study from,
By
This review is from: Registry Review in Computed Tomography, 1e (Paperback)
I used this book as well as a couple of other books to study for the ct registry. while this book was not the best study tool, I found the test format in the book to be quite helpful. The question and answer format in this book was just like taking the registry. Some of the questions in this book are a little too in depth, but it helped me study for the registry by covering areas that I wasn't solid in. I would use this book, a registry review book by romans, the pocket atlas of ct body and head anatomy by richard webb m.d., and the MIC registry review book. I used all of these books to study for the ct registry and passed with an 89. hope this review helps anyone that is considering taking the ct registry.

This book will help you pass your CT boards,
By A Customer
This review is from: Registry Review in Computed Tomography, 1e (Paperback)
This book was extremely helpful! Very similar to actual registry. I EASILY passed my CT boards the first time. All information was up to date and most of the anatomy in this book was on the registry. I really believe this book helped me pass the registry. It is a review book you HAVE to get. I only used this and one other book. I was VERY pleased with my registry score.

Very helpful in preparation for the CT registry exam. I purchased three CT registry review books, and this is by far the best one. Covers the exact material that is present on the registry exam. Good images and detailed anatomy questions. Would recommend to anyone preparing to take their CT boards.

Great help for the CT Registry,
This review is from: Registry Review in Computed Tomography, 1e (Paperback)
Although a little outdated, many of the questions in the registry were straight out of this book. I used this book along with Seeram-CT Principles, Applications & Quality Control and the MIC Registry Review. I recently passed the registry first time. I took the practice exams in this book and then looked up the questions that I had difficulty with in Seeram. I found that this had prepared me enough for the registry exam. I would reccommend this book combined with these other sources mentioned.

This book is by far the best of the bunch. It very successfully prepared me for the registry. Many questions on the actual test appear in this book-almost word for word!! Has up-to-date info on spiral CT and 3D reformation. The style and format is far superior to the other CT registry review books. This is the one you want to buy!!!

CT experience,

I recently purchased this book and took the registry just 2 days ago. All the reviews I've read said that this was THE book to have and 80% of the questions appeared on the registry. This was not the case for me, unfortunately. I know there are several CT registries out there and quite possibly for some of them this book would be sufficient , however, I didn't find it in my case. The book was beneficial in that it mentally prepared me for answering all those questions and keeping my mind open but questions from this book did not appear on the registry.

This book was a great review book. I took my CT registry and passed with flying colors. There were lots of questions from this book on my actual registry. I don't think I would of done as well without it. I suggest it be used as a supplemental book, this book alone can't help you pass. Once you know the basics to CT this book will guide you on the road to be coming and R.T.(CT)

Good Book,

I used this book to prepare for my CT registry. It was not the only book that I used but I felt that it was very helpful. I took, and passed, my registry in October 2006. This book contained a lot of questions that I actually had on my registry. Also this book has a lot of anatomy questions and there was a lot of anatomy on the registry. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

Not Really Helpful,

This review is from: Registry Review in Computed Tomography, 1e (Paperback)
I practically memorized this book. There were only about 5 questions on the registry that were in this book. I found it was VERY outdated. It did help with how the test is outlined, but as for it's content it wasn't helpful at all. I found it overpriced for a thin paperback.
