4.0 out of 5 stars quality home user grade tool
I have used a friend's Regitar RET30 Electric Nailer for installing crown moldings, it made the job so much easier. The nailer is a high quality product, but my impression was that it is definitely not contractor or commercial grade, but more than adequate for the serious home user. I was sold enough that I bought one myself.

1.0 out of 5 stars Forewarned is forearmed
While this "nailer" might work for veneers and particle board, it is far from the professional unit the manufacturer claims. I tried it on redwood one-by and the 1 3/16" brads (recommended) rarely sank in even half way. I sent it back and rented a pneumatic one instead.

Great product for people that don't want to haul a compressor around in order to use a nailer. Make sure you have a good electrical connection though, the lights dim when you fire the nailer.

This nailer is great for non-contractor tasks. I bought it for installing "trim work" and it has saved considerable time. I would definitely buy it again.
