A great album from a great band,

I'm from the U.K. and have been a massive Terrorvision fan for years, and I have seen numerous gigs, and seen them play festivals. I can't quite believe that there albums haven't been released in the U.S. you are missing out on a simply great band. I would recommend 'How to make friends and influence people' but you can't even get that on Amazon.com. This is Terrorvision's second best album, yet it still deserves a 5 star rating. 'Perseverance' and 'If I were you' are great examples of great 'Brit Rock'. If you don't have a Terrorvision album in your collection buy this one, you won't be disappointed. Terrorvision have been at the top of 'Brit Rock' for years, they're great, don't expect Oasis or Blur though, Terrorvision really do rock.

I encountered Terrorvision while in England, and now that I've moved back to the states I'm depressed that you can't get their CD's except on import, because Terrorvision is definately one of the best british bands out there, if not the best. Regular Urban Survivors is not their best album, but neither is either of their other 2. They don't have a best album. All 3 of them are unique, and totally awesome in their own right. My favorite 'Vision album is the one that happens to be in my CD player at the time, but I can't reccommend this album (or any of their albums) enough. If you don't buy this, you'll be sorry.

A brilliant recording -- very catchy, original, imaginative!,

"Regular Urban Survivors" is one of my favorite CDs of the decade. Why? It combines Brit-pop with an edgier alternative sound, offers imaginative, "far-out" lyrics, and is one of the few "concept albums" of recent years. Terrorvision set out to record a mock soundtrack of an imaginary film reminiscent of a James Bond or action thriller film. This CD SHOULD have been released in the U.S., but sadly never saw the light of day. Maybe more people will discover it through the excellent forum that Amazon.com has provided.
