1.0 out of 5 stars worst casebook i've had in law school, December 12, 2011
This review is from: The Regulation of Lawyers (Hardcover)
going into my final semester of law school, this casebook is undoubtedly the worst casebook i have read. it lacks any kind of organizational structure - there is no logical connection between cases and the section in which they appear. if your instructor is using this casebook, good luck . . . my best advice is to try to convince your professor to use a different casebook.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst legal textbook I've read, July 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Regulation of Lawyers (Hardcover)
I hated this textbook. I found both the writing and the organization to be confusing. The subject matter itself is a lot simpler if you learn it without reading this book.

Most legal textbooks contain a series of edited cases with some exposition. I found that while this textbook contains some cases, it mostly follows the patter of posing hypothetical questions followed by a loosely connected string of case summaries with no transitions. I think the problem is that the author doesn't utilize a separate section of note cases like most legal textbooks. So instead of having a neatly ordered list of varying tidbits, you have a lump of tangential information.
