In my opinion, this is THE best album I have heard since Jesus Freak. I am a 49 year old white Catholic Christian geezer. I've been an Amazon customer since their early days, and have written hardly any reviews.

This album is proof that there is no style of music that cannot be used for God's glory. But it goes WAY beyond that. The words and the messages throughout are the type where, after listening, I want to be a better man, a more committed Christian. There are songs on here that I still get goosebumps after listening to, the words are so powerful. I've come to realize that this is rap's beauty . . . . a story and message can be more easily told with rap than other forms of music. It seems to me more like poetry with a musical backdrop, with the emphasis on the words.

Lacrae's words are so deep, raw, and real. Being a geezer I don't understand everything, but I understand enough, and you can't help but listen to this and come away changed. I for one will be praying for Lacrae, because his music is so powerful, that he must be noticed by the other side. I will pray that he remain stong and close to Jesus, as is obvious from his songs. A person can not write stuff like this and not be close to Jesus!

I have purchased 2 additional copies of this for friends and family via Amazon, and have another friend in mind.

This album deserves to be at the very least album of the year, and that is across all genres.

This album saved my life.

I was so looking forward to this album and when I turned the music up the beat was bumping and then I hear the word and turned it off. God had reminded me of my secret sin that I know leads to death but it feels like it has such a tight grip on me. The devil is a liar.

This album just prompted me to be more prayerful, and moved me to study more. My reputation cannot be tarnished simply bc I refused to demonstrate self-control.

I am so blessed to have heard it because this word dropped when I truly needed to assume the position of keeping my eyes on Calvary and being intentional about not taking God's grace for granted. I have been struggling with a few things and the thoughts I have entertained but then to cast them down.

"Check In" and "killa"....especially the track killa set a young woman straight.

Rehab will convict and lead you to be converted in that particular area in your life. I felt like I had been baptized again. It is truly honest about some of the pitfalls/temptations we come across in the life of a Christian and it speaks of the war that goes on inside or atleast the war that should be going on inside. Thank God for the war and there is truly power in confessing our sins to the Father who is faithful and just to forgive and who will cleanse us of all unrighteousness.

Thank God for the submerging while dying daily to the flesh (which I am reminded to do) to then be raised and made new in Christ Jesus.

Every time since I have heard this cd, when I am about to entertain my sin, i hear verses from this cd reminding me of my calling, my responsibility to walk in th light.

Lecrae, thank you for your faithfulness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lecrae's journey as a rapper has taken him in many direction musically. If you listen to his prior three LP's in order you will see a very clear pattern of growth and maturity and this continues with Rehab. Lecrae's biggest struggle seems to be his own popularity and this battle is expressed very vividly in this CD. it's kind of funny when you compare a regenerated rapper who celebrates humility and meekness with pagan rapper who embrace, indulge, and promote their reputation. Lecrae's style and track selection is much more diverse than his previous records. There's straight hip-hop, r&b, rap-core, reggae, and dance style songs. It's a great mix of flavors with tons of guests that all contribute well to the songs. Some songs are better than others and yet it's hard to find a song that I flat out don't like. The theology is still here which is encouraging. Keep your eye fixes on Lecrae. I think he and the other clique members will do for Christian rap what DC Talk did for Christian Rock.

I am really just getting into Christian Rap/Hip Hop. My brother bought this album for me. I am not exaggerating when I say, this is one of the best rap albums I have ever heard, secular or otherwise. The music production is excellent, the lyrical content is excellent, every track grabs you, and the Christian messages are clear. This album alone has made me a Lecrae fan. In the secular mainstream, I believe this would be rap album of the year. Excellent album.

At the time of this release, Lecrae is in the process of rehabilitation sharing the gospel to a war-stricken country of Sudan. This is what "rehab" is all about as he states that it's not about the hits or record sales, nor anything to do with his popularity and success- all Lecrae wants from this album is to see God glorified to the utmost in advancing the kingdom. In times when the world is impacting our society through mind control and manipulation to promote sin's agenda, praise God for believers who are not ashamed to speak out and reveal the truth in His word. The music imposed on this 4th project is a straight up call to conviction in real life situations and differs from the previous record both in style and lyrical content. After watching Lecrae address his intention on Rehab's listening session online, it's obvious that he didn't want this to be just a follow-up to Rebel, but a completely different take altogether. With a more soulful edge in tone approached by a line of producers new to the scene- the diversity is apparent and as a listener, you can't help but feel convicted. Songs like "Just Like You" hit hard to the soul, and there's the classy "Crayola" crunk bangers you'd hit up as well. However don't take my word for it- you need to tune in to this the whole way to see what you'd get from this throughout, as God would have speaking to you on a personal level. All in all, this bro checks in to reality that it's all about Jesus, and as for us, it's about time for a REHAB N' CHr1sT, Amen!

"And because of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption" 1 Corinthians 1:30
