I only started listening to Lecrae recently, when I found his Rehab album here on Amazon MP3 for $5. I was pleasantly surprised. I have been a hip hop fan since the early '80's, so I have had a chance to watch the music evolve over time into it's current state. Most of what I hear these days makes me feel bad, but Lecrae's music is different. I have heard it said before that if you put trash in you can only get trash out. I believe that to my soul, but if you are searching for something positive that still sounds like hip hop, here is an artist for you.

This album is awesome. It is perfect to go along with the Rehab album. Not too many features and it just shows that Lecrae can do it on his own as a solo artist.Overdose was a great single for the album.I have to say I listened to a Lecrae song on a wall posting from facebook. I went on amazon to listen to the Rehab album ended up buying all of his albums within 20 minutes.A great buy not because of Lecrae its a great buy because it glorifies GOD!

Lecrae comes hard with the second offering of "Rehab". This album is a great compliment to the first and in my opinion he comes off with more of a gritty grimy style, there's much more of an edge to this album. Its quite fitting for the time and season that we are in. Under the anointing of the Lord, Lecrae moves forward with the rehab movement. This is a must have, you wont be dissapointed.
