This game rocks!,

I was let down by the movie, but the game makes up for it. You can play as either a "Dragon Slayer" or the actual Dragon itself. As a human, you take the role of a resistance fighter, controlling a variety of well-equipped vehicles. Your purpose is to defend the last remaining humans from attack and eventually to make your way to the site of the sole male dragon. The sound and graphics are amazing. I really enjoyed playing this game.

What an experience!,

Reign of Fire is a fantastic game! It has great graphics and intense gameplay. The developers have created a fantastic sense of battlefield carnage and chaos against marauding dragons. In latter levels, YOU get to be a marauding dragon! There are some things you need to know about the controls, which has gotten some bad press. The default is "simple" control configuration. Change this before you even start playing! In this configuration, you aim AND steer with the left thumbstick, and accelerate and decelerate with A and B. The right thumbstick does nothing. We will get nowhere with this set-up. On the other hand, the "advanced" set-up steers with the left thumbstick, and aims with the right. This makes the controls very intuitive. Another thing you might want to do is turn down the auto-aim to zero. Otherwise, the aiming cursor does a lot of drifting, which can be very annoying and make it more difficult. I have very few complaints about the game. The dialogue can get quite repetitive at time, such as when you are not in the spot you need to be. You hear the same sentence repeated multiple times.

Edit: I meant to put 3 stars
I saw the movie and it was good but like the game, not well thought out. Jugdging by the preview the game looked really good and I have to give them credit for that. Otherwise this game was horrible. The graphics were ok for xbox but the controls were just horrible. I really thought it was going to come close to halo but I was sadly dissapointed.
