5.0 out of 5 stars a valuable book, April 29, 2007
This review is from: Reign of Nabonidus King of Babylon: 556-539 Bc (Yale Near Eastern Researches) (Turkish Edition) (Hardcover)
The book is very informative with detailed analysis of inscriptions of Nabonidus and examines origins, accession, and administration system of reign of Nabonidus. Religious reforms and exaltation of Sin cult are discussed in details with systematic analysis of inscriptions and it confirms that Cyrus cylinder and verse account's content were not only propaganda and had historical values. The book is hard to find but it contains useful infromations about rise and fall of last Babylonian king.
