Editorial Reviews

Legendary kings of death metal Dying Fetus have reemerged after a nearly three year wait to deliver Reign Supreme, their most crushing and focused album to date. Simultaneously pushing the boundaries of brutality and technicality while returning to their uncompromising roots, Reign Supreme offers nine tracks of face pummeling insanity. Mind-bending musicianship coalesces with earth shattering breakdowns, their infamous dual vocal attack and relentless sociopolitical commentary. Reign Supreme accomplishes exactly what the title implies mounting Dying Fetus atop the death metal throne!

5.0 out of 5 stars They've done it again June 23, 2012
By Adam H
Format:Audio CD
Dying Fetus has not disappointed me in the past, and they still haven't with this album. You have all the DF signatures here, grinding guitars, guttural vocals and vicious breakdowns. It seems they even kicked up the drumming a notch on some of the songs, very fast. If you're a fan of their past work, or other grindy death metal, then get this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars reign supreme June 26, 2012

dying fetus must be one of the best death metal bands of all time , this album is proof of their brutality .

john Gallagher has to be hands down one of the best death metal guitarists today...... my first listen to dying fetus was 'stop at nothing' and i was hooked , this album is so freakin brutal , crushing guitar tones, solid bass lines that back up the guitar riffs even through the arpeggios , very impressive..... and this new drummer breathes new life to this established band and does it with finesse...

get your hands on this album , you won't regret it !! stay metal !!

A+ to dying fetus

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Album June 27, 2012
Format:Audio CD
These guys are amazing musicians. The songs are well written and brilliantly executed. More of a thrash metal fan, I've deviated into the prog and death metal scene in the last few years and love it. I think this album will be a benchmark for future bands to be influenced by.

Even as a three-piece, these guys keep getting better. The traditional DF sound is definitely here, although there's enough new variations added to keep it fun. Read more
