Soy un profesional de la Industria de la musica y el cine y realmente esta produccion esta muy bien hecha, se nota que se dedicaron seriamente para realizarla. Mis felicitaciones a los muchachos, sigan adelante hagan buena musica como lo han hecho hasta ahora. Al vocalista, tienes una voz privilegiada muy comercial, sigue desarrollandola y que Dios los bendiga hoy y siempre. No se averguenzen de cantarle al amor, ciertamente eso es lo que este mundo necesita para vivir mejor y sin duda alguna a nuestro creador, Dios.

Well, lots of negative comments have appeared saying that this group is "the same" as other bands like Sin Bandera, but Reik is much more than a romantic duet.First of all, they have new fusions, an innovative singing style, theyr own personality and after all have great and pretty songs and melodies. Another rock-pop band, but with talent and awesome lyrics written by themselves. They definitely have much to offer, as examples the first singles show a new cool vibe among the fake rock or the cheesy pop that surrond.Therefore to listen the cd is a blast, not another teeny booper band!

There is a lot of hate in this forum over what people think these guys are, but not a lot of appreciation for their talents - similar to the male backlash to the popularity of American bands like N*sync. If you enjoy gangsta rap or other harsher or political music you are not going to be vibin' with Reik. But if you enjoy music with a high degree of romance and sentimentality, or if you enjoy beautiful guitar arrangements, sweet melodies and nice vocal harmonies then you should give this band your ear for a while.

There are several standout tracks on the album, notably Como Me Duele, Amor Primero, Que Vida la Mia, and Me Cansé De Ti. These songs have great hooks and harmonies. If only all pop was this good. There are a few underperforming tracks where the vocals are not up to the same standard as the others and come across as sour. Fortunately, the arrangements are tight and hold even the few weaker songs together.

Like N*Sync, Reik is heavily produced and promoted - very corporate and mainstream. Some people will be turned off by what they perceive as canned music. However, these people will also miss out on the talent a band like Reik brings to the mic. My wife and daughters love this band, and there is Reik's target demographic. I don't think much of their looks (and the one video of theirs I saw had me more interested in the girl than the group... LOL), but then they're not appealing to me. Some of you guys need to relax a little and think about the impression you'll make with this album playing in the background during a dinner by candlelight for two.

Hailing from Mexicali, Mexico, a god-forgotten bordertown which also happens to be the state capital of Baja Norte, Reik has been systematically kicking asses and taking namez.

Don't listen to all the haterz here spilling their venom. Their just jealous of these 3 kids (and their producer's, also a Mexicalian) success.

Esta banda toca una buena mescla de folk rock y balada con liricas realmente romanticas. Yase que aciertas personas no les gusta porque el romanticismo horita no esta hala moda y es inlegal. Horita ala gran mayoria de personas les gusta escuchar musica morbosa y perversa como el Regeton donde las mujeres son consideradas obsequios sexsuales y el adulterio, las drogas, y la infiedelidad estan asiendo apolladas. Como yo soy un Hombre Extremadamente Femenista yo les pido a los hombres que realmente saben que an benido al mundo gracias a una mujer que no escuchen el Regeton... y que las mujeres no escuchen musica que nomas dice que son obsequios sexsuales... por que no lo son. Que viva el romanticismo y el rock romantico!

Bueno que puedo decir, este es una muy buena produccion de un trio que promete mucho. Los escuche por primera vez en Mexico durante el verano. Al principio no me gustaba pero solo falta escuchar la poesia de estos chavos. La verdad cantan del corazon y para el corazon. Hay unas rolas muy memorables como amor primero, que vida la mia, yo quisiera y noviembre sin ti. Esto es musica buena la verdad. La gente que piensa que reik son unos "fresas" no saben que para saber de la musica uno tiene que ser diverso. No todo es puro rock o el rap, tambien se tiene que tener un CD dedicado al amor--y por que no empezar con ReiK?

This is a great group indeed. Their songs are great and the lyrics truly demonstrate the significance of our feelings. If you enjoy calm and acoustic, yet touching songs this band is for you. There are great songs such as: Quisiera Ser (*****) and Vida Mia (*****). If you dont have it, you are really wasting time on one of the best bands that have iniciated their career this year. I guarantee that you will not regret buying this album. There is only one word for this Cd and that is: FABULOUS.

When I first listened to Reik, I was hooked. They have a great sound! "Que Vida la Mia" is awesome!!!! The songs are NOT the same, regardless of what anyone says. Each song is unique in its own way with great vocals and music. There are upbeat songs and slower songs too. All are great!

I first heard the group "Reik" in San Diego California on a radio station from Tijuana, Mexico (Digital 107.7) The first song I heard from this group was "Yo Quisera" Later on as I heard more from this group, I loved the hits "Que Vida La Mia, Noviembre Sin Ti, Vuelve, just to name a few. I bought the CD and was hooked on this group! If you love Latino Pop and haven't heard this this group then you're missing out! Also if you love chill out music, this CD is also for you wether you understand Spanish or not.

I discovered this band while watching the Mexican 52MX channel on cable. I have to agree with an earlier reviewer who thought the lead singer had a great voice for pop- he truly is talented. The level of production is high and perfectly suited to this genre of pop/rock. I think this album stands with the best boy-band sounds currently out, regardless of language. These guys have a great, cheerful sound that sounds professional, somewhat acoustic, and really hits the spot. The voice track is not overwhelmed by the music. Excellent purchase if you are interested in and like great standard pop en español.
