I heard the cd while listening to it on a cable music channel and thought it was one of the peaceful music I have ever heard. It gives you a deep sense of relaxation while at the same time it gives you a spiritual wellness. To me it is one of the few cds that has music you can meditate and also pray while listening to it. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something to help them to relax and reach a spitiual connection with themselves.

Each time I've listened to this cd at night, I'm asleep before it reaches the end. It is just that soothing. The acoustics are so rich and vibrant, I can feel "impulses" in my inner ear. I've listened to many other reiki cds, but none of them comes close to this one. However, a close second is "Monsoon Point" by Gromer and Cuni. Deuter gives a whole meaning to "sonorous".

If you are not familiar with Reiki, it is a form of alternative healing, sometimes referred to as "hands-on healing". Reiki is a gentle and loving, heart-centered movement of energy both within and outside of the body to facilitate the free-flow of that energy, thereby attempting to help the "client" clear any energy blockages which could (and often do) manifest as diseases. Most Reiki practitioners use their hands, but Reiki can also be sent through the eyes and even through thoughts, to someone in front of you as well as to someone thousands of miles away, and in current, past, and future times. It is a beautiful and loving discipline, especially from those who send Reiki through their heart. It is quite possible that the composer could even be sending you Reiki through music.

This CD was "composed and performed with a wonderful sensitivity to let the spirit of Reiki unfold itself" (as it says on the cover). It lasts a little over one hour and can be used for meditation or for alternative therapies, such as Reiki, acupuncture, reflexology, etc. It could also be used to lift you away into a peaceful sleep or to sooth someone who is seriously ill or in a medical-care facility. Do not underestimate the healing capabilities of music. It is very soothing. If you are already into energy movement, this is a very light, soft, vibratory CD. I like to give things like this as birthday or Christmas gifts, especially to a stressed friend or relative. A gift like this just keeps on giving all year long and CDs can really last a long, long time.

From the very beginning, I found this music most relaxing and enjoyable. It gently and beautifully raises one to a very clear level of serenity.

was listening to my Soundscapes channel on Cable...one of the songs from this CD came on and it was so peaceful, had to buy the CD....is wonderful!!! play when having dinner parties or ladies getting together or just sitting to read a book or meditate....is so relaxing......everyone comments on how peaceful and calming the music is....would be great for the ride home from work in the car!

I enjoyed all the CD's I've received so far. I used this one a couple times giving Reiki to someone and it is very appropriate and the timing is almost exact, from the time a treatment starts to the finish. Only one person mentioned that the stops between tracks were a little long. She wanted continuous sound, but thought it fit in with her treatment.

The first time I listened to this CD, I was hooked. It is so relaxing that I listen to it every day. I bought one for my chiropractor to use in her office w/ patients to help them relax while they enjoy moist heat and wait their turn. I could easily fall asleep!
