As a teaching Reiki Master for over 14 years I love the simplicity and clarity that Dr. Shipon brings to the topic of sharing Reiki. He gets to the heart of the matter. The extraneous history, mythology and controversial competitions of recent years are left out or boiled down to the very essence of this sacred and spiritual healing tradition and topic. The book is excellent for the beginner practitioner and and can be powerful for those who merely are curious. The advanced practitioner will notice there are some breaks in tradition. For example the Reiki symbols are included and the experience of attunement by the in-person Reiki Master is made optional by offering another approach and process.
In my opinion this small spare book beautifully shares one soul's journey using Reiki as a guide and support. Because of his professional training it is clean and clear and very human. REIKI PSYCHOLOGY doesn't waste time and I believe the notes it hits are resonant in today's world. Reiki is made professional, personal and relevant in this book.

Reiki Psychology blends the viewpoints of spirituality and psychology into a unique standpoint that is very obvious and a much needed voice in today's world. Dr. Shipon's Unifying approach to the information is relevant to all people, helping professionals and laypeople alike. The language and the references he selects are easy to understand and deftly establish a connection to a wide range of people. Definitely a must-read for anyone who is open to learning how integral we all are to the function of the world.

I found this book to be amazing. Having no prior experience with Reiki, I was not sure what to expect, but Dr. Shipon explains the concept of Reiki Psychology in a straightforward and customizable manner that can offer immediate benefits in terms of relaxation techniques and general outlook to anyone with an open mind. I highly recommend!
