Templeton had such a good vision of her female character, Thea. She had just the right amount of snarkiness and love. Also, Rachel, the daughter, was an excellent character, too.
Thea, Johnny's ex gf and Rachel, Johnny's teen daughter find out they are both pregnant at the same time. Rachel's comment about how it was great that they were expecting babies at the same time was hilarious, and the high school graduation scene was hysterical. Well worth the read. Some of Templeton's one liners were very funny, especially the one about Johnny's ex wearing enough silver and turquoise jewelry to keep a reservation afloat for months:) |
