I recommend this book to anyone in the labor force from laborer to top level management. Stephen Adams will force you to evaluate your current employment situation with an eye toward the uncertain future. Adams' take on the trends in Corporate America are very much in line with what I encounter daily as I work with Job Seekers who are left out in the cold by their employers. This book will change the way you view the relationship between you and your employer. It will also help you to make decisions about your professional development that will increase your marketability in the future. There is a strong emphesis toward self-employment, but not like you might expect. Inspires and creates hope for the future.
