Real Jazz with a Backbeat,

Much music that is called jazz nowdays is not jazz in any kind of way. This album however is great jazz with a funk backbeat. Jazz lovers can dig this; jam band lovers can dig this too. The players are all top notch, and the performances are too. This has improvisation in spades. I would like more music like this.
