WOW. If you are at all interested in what reishi (aka ganoderma lucidum - a mushroom) can do for you, this is the book to buy. I was MORE than impressed with the thoroughness of the information and the documentation. Willard has given us all food for thought - this incredible herb has been known of by Chinese herbal medicos for centuries and it's the blindness of Western Medicine that has keept us in the dark about its miraculous healing properties. (yes, puns intentional!) Read it, learn, and grow healthy!

I have been taking Reishi mushroom for a few years and it has improved my quality of life in numerous ways. This book explores both research and anecdotal evidence for the amazing powers of this ancient herb. I highly recommend the book for anyone interested in chinese medicine or alternative medicine. No special knowledge is needed to understand the concepts presented in the book.

I am so glad that western people found out about this herb. It works!! My family and I are taking reishi mushroom every night with roots and flowers. It saved my husband life. My husband has a long list of health problems: high blood pressuer, high cholesterol, smoked for 20-pack year, has family history of diabetic and stroke. I knew that he's going to have a heart attack or stroke someday, but every since he took the reishi mushroom he is now healthy.
