I am a speech therapist who works with Home Health. Many of the people I work with cannot afford an expensive hearing aid but their hearing loss has a negative effect on their communication ability with family and friends. I ordered one of these devices thinking if it didn't work, I hadn't invested much money. My patients love it - one man begged me to let him keep it! I have ordered two and plan to order more. It is not a customized hearing aid by any stretch but it is useful for amplifying sound. It is definitely worth the money for anyone who has some hearing loss and cannot afford personal hearing aids.

I had bad ears and went deaf for a while so I got the Reizen loud ear. I was able to hear very well, and it looked like I was just playing music. I would recommend this for anyone who has trouble with their hearing.

As a geriatric nurse I encounter numerous patients who are hearing impaired but who will not purchase expensive hearing aids. In order for these patients to hear what their doctor is saying I let them try the Super Ear. It has been extremely helpful. Family members usually want to buy one. The Super Ear is simple to use, inexpensive and durable. The only downside is that a few patients have taken them home and I have to order more.
