I am on a study routine and didn't want to use a sound alarm because it tends to frazzle me after long time use. Basically, during the summer i try to take a vacation from sound alarms. I saw this product and liked the fact it was compact and would announce the time every hour. I didn't want the alarm sound. Big mistake it does turn on, it does announce the time every hour, but the thing I was looking for the vibration is nonexistent. A light sleeping newborn would not get disturbed by the vibrating. This more than anythinwas a complete disappointment. By the way it is nearly impossible to set the time and alarm on this horrible product. Total junk. I would send it back if it didn't announce the time. So, i now have a very expensive non alarm clock that was supposed to be an alram clock. I am going to try the shake awake and pray it also is junk. Do not buy this product.
