Reizen Vibrating Five Alarm Pill Box

This item is working to help me space some important medicine, but only two of the capsules fit into each chamber. I don't bother loading it anymore, just use it as a timer. The vibration is very loud. Also, to stop the vibration, you have to turn the dial, and it beeps when you do. Defeats the purpose of vibrate for silent reminders. I bought it to have a reminder without being obvious.

I am satisfied with the pill box. It does what I need it to do--which is to remind me to take an important pill twice a day. The alarm is loud enough to be heard in my pocketbook stored under my desk. My only dissatisfaction is that the pill compartments are very small. Some of my medications are capsules and only three can fit in the tiny compartment.

At first, I was concerned that the alarm didn't work. I called customer service who told me immediately that the alarm was powered by a AAA battery, which was not included. Since the lithium battery was already installed when I received it and the clock was working, I assumed (in error) that was the only battery needed and skipped the battery installation instructions. The instructions clearly state otherwise. I always say that 'if I could read, I would be dangerous.'

This is a nice, compact, little pill box. Economical. Easy to read display. I like it. Two short-comings:
1. Instructions are printed in EXTREMELY SMALL TYPE. If you don't have excellent reading glasses or an electron microscope, find someone who does before you take this out of the package.
2. If you take many, many pills or your pills are large, this little unit may not accomodate them. The compartments are very small.

I have to take one of my medications every eight hours. Was OK for the morning and night pills but was forgetting the mid-day one. Bought this unit and have not missed a dose since. Times are easy to set -- once a day to five times a day. My hearing is not too good but I can hear this beep and/or vibrate quite well. Is small enough to carry in your pocket.
There is a handy pulse monitor included on the pill box that works very well.
Only problem was, the lithium battery supplied with the unit was no good when received. Bought one at WalMart for under $2 and all was fine. You will need four AAA batteries that are not supplied.

I need to take medications at times different from other meds and without food, etc. I tend to take morning at breakfast or night meds soon after supper and without an issue but anything in between, I ALWAYS miss them. I work a couple jobs and attend school, so it's easy for me to miss things during the day without a reminder. This pill container is quite a handy little thing, and I haven't missed a medication since I got it. Even when I'm not carrying it, I can hear the little buzzing sound of the vibrating mode, or the audible alarm if I set that (or both) from across the room, so if I'm anywhere's near it (I throw it in my handbag which tends to be somewhere near me), I can hear the reminder alarm. The alarm will repeat again in case you miss it the first time it went off. I personally find the sound level of both the alarms fine, but I'd turn off the alarms if going into a meeting to quiet event. Not a problem for me as I need to turn off the cell phone and pager anyways, so no big deal. I admit the digital read on the clock face is a little hard to see, but overall, not bad and once you set it, there's little reason to set it again; there's a options for various times for this to alarm. I love this product and even though I didn't want to spend the $15 plus shipping dollars on a pill box initially and hesitated to buy it think it would be just another twenty bucks wasted, it's proven to be well worth it in the long run.

I am able to fit (2) large pills in 1 compartment and about (4) of smaller pills. The alarms can be set at different times of the day in 30min increments. The device still makes noise even when it's in the vibrate mode; It makes a [loud] beeping noise when you turn the dial to release the pills, which ruins any attempt of taking your pills unnoticed (from what I can tell there is no way of cutting off all sounds completly other than taking the battery (AAA) out, which takes away the alarm feature). It also beeps when you push buttons. The pulse feature would be cool if I knew how to use it. If you have directions then learning how to set the time and alarms should be easy (it didn't take me long to figure it out). The light is an adequate brightness, but cannot be activated when the hold button is on. The vibrate is strong enough for you to notice even if it's not directly on you. Hold button is a nice feature that allows you to not affect any setting if you are carrying it in your bag.

Alarm works great, however it takes alot of strength to open the pill box.

Got this alarm to help my wife to keep track of her eye medication which needed to be taken four times daily. Once you set the alarm times, the vibrating beeper worked very well to help maintain the daily schedule.
The only negative comment is that the blue led night light stopped working after second day.

Just what I needed and it works really good. I dont hear that well so the vibrator tells me its time for a pill and I use four of the five conpartments available.I wasted money on other products untill this really fine product came along. I woul highly rate this item as *****.It was delivered promptly also

The first one I received did not work. I called and the customer service rep was very helpful but the paperwork to return it was very slow in coming and the return took a long time. The second box worked just fine. It is a bit hard to figure out how to use it. The instructions are not clear but over time it should become easier to set and use.
