Book Description

In this four week mini Bible Study you will discover the power of acceptance in your life. The acceptance we all have from God, and why it's important to accept our self, flaws and all.

Rejection is a powerful force in our life and our Christian walk. It effects our confidence in God and His call on our life. But little do we know the power we have to let go of the control it has on us.

Rejection is also an attitude that results in an action that looks a lot like putting space between you and someone who has hurt you.

I pray this book will bless you in a way where you will release idols and embrace acceptance in your life rather than the lie of rejection.

Table of Contents:

Introduction
Chapter 1: Rejection is a Lie
Chapter 2: When is Rejection OK?
Chapter 3: Acceptance
Chapter 4: Will God Reject Me?

5.0 out of 5 stars Just What I Needed June 5, 2012
By LaToya
Format:Kindle Edition
This study is exactly what I needed. I have dealt with rejection of all sorts for a long time and have let it keep me from living a full life in God. This study is short but packs a a big punch. The study walks you through the path of healing, forgiveness and journey towards acceptance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looking Inward for Rejection's Roots June 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Rejection is very common in our world, especially among sensitive people. The author hits her subject head-on, linking it with perfection and pride. (Wow... and we, the rejected, thought we were the victims!). I liked the book's directness and conciseness as Heather asks pointed questions to her readers. The author helps those experiencing rejection walk through scripture to heal and strengthen one's position in Christ as they also examine their own life to see if they are rejecting anyone.

This easy-to-read study would make a wonderful study for a newly organized group of women or just a four week devotional study. I recommend it for anyone feeling unimportant or forgotten in the body of Christ. Thanks for writing it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Study June 6, 2012
By Ashlyn
Format:Kindle Edition
This eBook is a wonderful study for everyone! It encourages you and helps you learn to accept yourself and the plan that God has for your life. One thing I love is at the end of each chapter she shares how to apply what you've just studied in your life, a memory verse for the week, daily activities to help you learn it, and discussion questions.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good First Step June 1, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
The author's style is very personal and informal, making the book more approachable and "user-friendly." The application sections will help people genuinely struggling with issues of rejection, and they are easy to make part of your day. It's a quick read for someone who wants to begin her journey of healing from rejection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Thought Provoking Content May 29, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Whether you go through this book by yourself and in a group, it will give you a lot of thought provoking content. Rejection is such a relevant topic today and so many experience the pain and hurt that comes with it. I appreciate the author's willingness to be real and vulnerable with her own struggles with rejection and yet always bring us back to what God's word says.

Each week comes with an application step, scripture to memorize with an action step for each day and three group discussion questions. It is not an indepth bible study with fill in the blanks, but does goes deep with the content.

Great topic and study...I recommended it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Timely Topic June 2, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Rejected focuses on a topic that most people deal with - Rejection. Heather pursues reasons why, and results of rejection in a person's life while offering the opposite - acceptance. This is a good study for anyone ministering to those who have a low self concept.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome November 22, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This study lesson made me look at rejection at a whole new light! I have been rejected in my life, but I try to denounce it lasting effects on my life. However, this study made me realize how I was rejecting others not even knowning it. After reading this book, I had to ask the Lord for forgiveness and ask him to create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. So, I will not willing or unwilling reject the people He has place in my life either for my good or for their good! As a Christian, I should be a beacon of light and not the outlet for satan! So,I thank you so much Mrs. Bixler for blessing me and showing me the error of my ways!

Smaller. Shorter then expected. I was looking for a more indepth study. That's why I opted for a hardcopy instead of the book.
